What FrontWars Is (and What It Isn't)
FrontWars is a real-time multiplayer strategy game from VexxusArts Ltd. Every match starts the same way: you hold a small patch of territory on a shared world map, dozens of other players hold theirs, and the map is redrawn by whoever expands fastest in the first five minutes.
From there it becomes an economy game. Cities raise your population cap, ports open trade routes and warships, and factories pay for the army you will eventually need. Alliances buy time; betrayal buys territory, at the price of a defence penalty and a reputation you cannot get back in the same match.
FrontWars shares MIT-licensed code with OpenFront.io but is a separate game with its own client, mobile apps and balance changes — progress and accounts do not carry over between the two.
